Teacher, What Does A Man Need To Do To Live Forever In Heaven?

“One day an expert on Moses’ laws came to test Jesus’ orthodoxy by asking him this question: “Teacher, What Does A Man Need To Do To Live Forever In Heaven?”!”

To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR

From:  GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be with you forever. [John 14:16]

Subject:  MY WORD;   John 1:1 (NKJV)  1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:14 (NKJV)  14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Luke 10:25–28 (The Living Bible) 25One day an expert on Moses’ laws came to test Jesus’ orthodoxy by asking him this question: “Teacher, what does a man need to do to live forever in heaven?” 26Jesus replied, “What does Moses’ law say about it?” 27“It says,” he replied, “that you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind. And you must love your neighbor just as much as you love yourself.” 28Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you shall live!”

Deuteronomy 6:4–5 (The Living Bible) 4“O Israel, listen: Jehovah is our God, Jehovah alone. 5You must love him with all your heart, soul, and might.

Deuteronomy 10:12–13 (The Living Bible) 12-13“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you except to listen carefully to all he says to you, and to obey for your own good the commandments I am giving you today, and to love him, and to worship him with all your hearts and souls?

Deuteronomy 30:6 (The Living Bible) 6He will cleanse your hearts and the hearts of your children and of your children’s children so that you will love the Lord your God with all your hearts and souls, and Israel shall come alive again!

Leviticus 19:18 (The Living Bible) 18Don’t seek vengeance. Don’t bear a grudge; but love your neighbor as yourself, for I am Jehovah.

Romans 13:9 (The Living Bible) 9If you love your neighbor as much as you love yourself you will not want to harm or cheat him, or kill him or steal from him. And you won’t sin with his wife or want what is his, or do anything else the Ten Commandments say is wrong. All ten are wrapped up in this one, to love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Galatians 5:13–14 (The Living Bible) 13For, dear brothers, you have been given freedom: not freedom to do wrong, but freedom to love and serve each other. 14For the whole Law can be summed up in this one command: “Love others as you love yourself.

Matthew 22:37–40 (The Living Bible) 37 Jesus Replied, “ ‘Love The Lord Your God With All Your Heart, Soul, And Mind.’ 38 This Is The First And Greatest Commandment. The Second Most Important Is Similar: ‘Love Your Neighbor As Much As You Love Yourself.40 All The Other Commandments And All The Demands Of The Prophets Stem From These Two Laws And Are Fulfilled If You Obey Them. Keep Only These And You Will Find That You Are Obeying All The Others.”

Today is February 13, 2016.  Please open your Bible and take the time to read Psalms Chapter 113, uninterrupted. Ask the Holy Spirit of the Living God to teach you and give you His wisdom and understanding.  Praise God!

[Please Note:  Always Read the Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation.   2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams)   16  For it was not mere stories of fancy that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed.  Please pay attention to this message as to a lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above all else, that no prophecy in Scripture is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living Bible) 9 Yet it was because of this that God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
