Praise God!
Thank you Father for your Word, the Son of God whom you sent to us that we (those who are willing), may be reconciled to you and become your sons and daughters; heirs of the King of the Universe. When your Son, the Son of God and The Son of Man came to us, He came as a man, born of a virgin and lived a life as an ordinary man. Isaiah 53: He came and completely fulfilled the Law and the Prophets (Read the last several chapters of Luke, the Lord Himself tells us this very clearly.) He was sinless, He said and did only that which He saw and heard you do Father. He faced the same trial and temptations we face every day, yet He remained faithful to the Father and the Father was well pleased. So much; that speaking from Heaven the Father said so in an audible voice to the witnesses present; and for the entire universe to hear. Matthew 3:, Mark 9:, John 12: . “This is My Son; Listen to Him” Thank you Lord for the many blessings and Thank you Lord for the gift of salvation through your Son and for the Holy Spirit living with us and in us.
The format for Daily Memo From The Father will be to let the Holy Spirit be our teacher and our counselor. Is this not what He, The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in very plain and simple words. (John 14: - 17:) He will give the assignments; He will teach; and from Him will we receive Heavenly Wisdom and Heavenly Understanding, (1 Corinthians 1: - 3:); just as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will all come from the Word of God.
For this week of 10/09/17 through 10/15/17 let us go to to the Book of John. Focus on chapters 14: through 17: and listen carefully to the Holy Spirit for His Heavenly Wisdom and Guidance. Try to read one complete chapter in one setting each day; reading in context as the Holy Spirit leads and directs you. Allow Him to open your mind, your eyes and your heart to what He will show you.
If one does not understand that John 14: - 17: is the starting point for the teachings in 1 Corinthians then it allows the reader to lean on his or her own understanding (Proverbs 3 :) and produce or concur easily to the many doctrines that are just not of God but simply the religious teachings of man. Understand when one choses to fractionate any of scripture and not read His Word in context with the only foundation being the Lord Jesus Christ’s own words in the four gospels brings about many doctrines, understandings and conjectures which may appear religious but are simply not of Him.
Further when we do not read His Word in Context; for those who are born again and have been baptized by the Holy Spirit and fire, it opens the door to allow the enemy and our own selfish pride to bring many different “human viewpoints” and “religious teachings” into our understanding. It does not matter how well intended our motives may be, or how many others may agree. (Hear and understand that very little has changed with the religious teachers and leaders of our time from those the Lord Jesus encountered when He walked this earth.)
God judges the heart, motive and intent of each of us. Lord we ask that you give us ears to hear and eyes to see that which is of You our Lord, Savior and King. Always test the spirits just as we are instructed by His Word in the Book of 1 John.
Last week’s lesson showed us clearly that we are not to follow the teachings of Paul or Apollos, or any other human, and that includes today religious leaders and this writer as well, unless their words, actions and doctrines align perfectly with the full Word of God. It is His Word, His Son and His Spirit we are to follow in our thoughts, words and deeds. The last chapter of Ecclesiastes is a very direct warning - “The conclusion, when all has been heard, is fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.” Ecclesiastes. 12:13
The natural man (or woman) cannot understand the things of God. The religious titles we invoke upon ourselves have little bearing on the Kingdom of Heaven and Heavenly things. It is only those who are born of the Spirit and have went through the fire of His Baptism with the pruning hook , winnowing fork and the chaff being burned with unquenchable fire who will have and ear to hear and eyes to see what the Holy Spirit is saying. Always ask the Holy Spirit of the Living God with you and in you for the interpretation of His Word, and then be patient to listen and read His Word and study His Word for confirmation. Ask that He may teach you about heavenly things; giving heavenly wisdom and heavenly understanding. Listen carefully for His still small voice.
Please, please and with all sincerity PUT ASIDE - ALL RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS AND RELIGIOUS UNDERSTANDINGS! All means all; rely only upon that which He shows you directly and confirms in you and in His Word.
This is very hard to do so, and most of us do not even realize we rely upon half-truths and the wisdom of man for most of our understanding of what we believe The Kingdom of Heaven is. If you are willing to ask, but more importantly willing to listen with an open and contrite heart He will begin the refining process in you, burning out the natural nature we so desperately cling to; pruning and winnowing each of us that He may give us the eyes to see and ears to hear HIS Pure Word and His Pure Truth. It all begins with The Lord Jesus Christ.
Inquire of the Lord to remove the veil from your eyes that you may see His Power, His blessings and ask that He may clearly show you why He sent His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ to this earth and why He gave us the Holy Spirit to be with us and in us?
Please remember this and plant His Pure Word in your heart?
The Lord Jesus Christ rules and reigns from heaven through the Holy Spirit with us on earth. Our obedience is to believe in His life, death, resurrection and ascension into heaven. This Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven will continue to be preached to every living soul on earth until The Father in His and His alone, perfect timing tells His Son to go and get His Bride.
All of Scripture confirms. The Lord Jesus Christ’s own words confirm and the signs and wonders He has sent us also confirm this up until this very day simply by observing world history.
The Holy Spirit is your teacher. Be a good student.
