To: ALL
WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From;
GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the
HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be with you forever. [John
14:16]
Subject:
MY WORD
Matthew 3:13–17 (NASB95) 13 Then Jesus arrived
from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. 14
But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I have need to be baptized by You, and
do You come to me?” 15 But
Jesus answering said to him, “Permit it at this time; for in this way it
is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he permitted Him. 16
After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the
heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting
on Him, 17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My
beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
Matthew 3:15 (AMP) 15 But Jesus replied
to him, Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for [both of] us to fulfill all righteousness [that is, to
perform completely whatever is right]. Then he permitted Him.
Matthew 3:15 (The Living Bible) 15 But
Jesus said, “Please do it, for I must do
all that is right.” So then John baptized him.
Matthew 5:3–10 (AMP) 3 Blessed (happy, to
be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s
favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in
spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven! 4 Blessed and enviably happy [with a
happiness produced by the experience of God’s favor and especially conditioned
by the revelation of His matchless grace] are those who mourn, for they shall
be comforted! 5 Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, spiritually
prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation,
regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient,
long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth! 6 Blessed and fortunate and happy and
spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God
enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be
completely satisfied! 7 Blessed (happy, to be envied, and
spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and
salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they
shall obtain mercy! 8 Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and
spiritually prosperous—possessing the happiness produced by the experience of
God’s favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace,
regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall
see God! 9 Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually
prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation,
regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers
of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God! 10 Blessed and happy and
enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the
born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God’s favor and
salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted
for righteousness’ sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom
of heaven!
Romans 1:16–18 (AMP) 16 For I am not
ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power
working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who
believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and
firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, 17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God
ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed
through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man
who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live
by faith. 18 For God’s [holy] wrath and indignation are
revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in
their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it
inoperative.
Romans 1:16–18 (The Living Bible) 16 For
I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is God’s powerful method of
bringing all who believe it to heaven. This message was preached first to the
Jews alone, but now everyone is invited to come to God in this same way. 17 This Good News tells us that
God makes us ready for heaven—makes us right in God’s sight—when we put our
faith and trust in Christ to save us. This is accomplished from start to finish
by faith. As the Scripture says it, “The man who finds life will find it
through trusting God.” 18 But God shows his anger from heaven
against all sinful, evil men who push away the truth from them.
Romans 3:20–28 (The Living Bible) 20 Now
do you see it? No one can ever be made
right in God’s sight by doing what the law commands. For the more we know
of God’s laws, the clearer it becomes that we aren’t obeying them; his laws
serve only to make us see that we are sinners. 21 But now God has
shown us a different way to heaven—not by “being
good enough” and trying to keep his laws, but by a new way (though not new,
really, for the Scriptures told about it long ago). Now God says he will accept
and acquit us—declare us “not guilty”—if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our
sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter
who we are or what we have been like. 23
Yes, all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious ideal; 24 yet
now God declares us “not guilty” of offending him if we trust in Jesus Christ,
who in his kindness freely takes away our sins. 25 For God sent
Christ Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to end all God’s anger
against us. He used Christ’s blood and our faith as the means of saving us from
his wrath. In this way he was being entirely fair, even though he did not
punish those who sinned in former times. For he was looking forward to the time
when Christ would come and take away those sins. 26 And now in these
days also he can receive sinners in this same way because Jesus took away their
sins. But isn’t this unfair for God to let criminals go free, and say that they
are innocent? No, for he does it on the basis of their trust in Jesus who took
away their sins. 27 Then what can we boast about doing to earn our salvation?
Nothing at all. Why? Because our acquittal is not based on our good deeds; it
is based on what Christ has done and our faith in him. 28 So it is that we are saved by faith in
Christ and not by the good things we do.
[Please Note: Always Read the Word of God in Context asking
the Holy Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
