“The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who
revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers. 8 O
taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be
envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. 9 O
fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For There Is No Want To Those Who Truly Revere And Worship Him With
Godly Fear.”
To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Psalm 1:1–6 (The Living Bible)1 Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow evil men’s advice, who do not
hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. 2 But
they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are
always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow him more
closely. 3 They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious
fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they
do shall prosper. 4 But for sinners, what a different story! They
blow away like chaff before the wind. 5 They are not safe on
Judgment Day; they shall not stand among the godly. 6 For the Lord watches over all the plans and paths of godly
men, but the paths of the godless lead to doom.
Psalm 34:3–9 (AMP) 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. 4
I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on
the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my
fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall
never blush for shame or be confused. 6 This poor man cried,
and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The Angel of the Lord encamps around those
who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He
delivers. 8 O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed
(happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge
in Him. 9 O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]!
For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with
godly fear.
Proverbs 1:20–23 (CJB) 20 Wisdom calls aloud
in the open air and raises her voice in the public places; 21 she
calls out at streetcorners and speaks out at entrances to city gates: 22
“How long, you whose lives have no purpose, will you love thoughtless living? How long will scorners find pleasure in
mocking? How long will fools hate knowledge? 23 Repent when I
reprove— I will pour out my spirit to you, I will make my words known to you.
Proverbs 1:23 (ESV) 23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will
pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.
Proverbs 1:23 (NKJV) 23 Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
Proverbs 1:22–23 (The Living Bible) 22 “You simpletons!” she cries. “How long will you go on being fools?
How long will you scoff at wisdom and fight the facts? 23 Come here and listen to me! I’ll pour out
the spirit of wisdom upon you and make you wise.
Proverbs 1:22–23 (NIV) 22 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long
will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? 23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out
my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.
Proverbs 12:28–13:1 (CJB) 28 In the road of
righteousness is life; no death is in its pathway. 1 A son who heeds
his father’s discipline is wise, but a
scoffer doesn’t listen to rebuke.
Proverbs 15:12 (AMP) 12 A scorner has no love for one who rebukes him;
neither will he go to the wise [for counsel].
Acts 13:36–41 (AMP) 36 For David, after he had served God’s will and purpose and
counsel in his own generation, fell asleep [in death] and was buried among his
forefathers, and he did see corruption and undergo putrefaction and
dissolution [of the grave]. 37 But He Whom God raised up [to life]
saw no corruption [did not experience putrefaction and dissolution of the
grave]. 38 So let it be clearly known and understood by you,
brethren, that through this Man forgiveness and removal of sins is now
proclaimed to you; 39 And that through Him everyone who believes
[who acknowledges Jesus as his Savior and devotes himself to Him] is absolved
(cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and
freed by the Law of Moses and given right standing with God. 40
Take care, therefore, lest there come
upon you what is spoken in the prophets: 41 Look, you scoffers and
scorners, and marvel and perish and vanish away; for I am doing a deed
in your days, a deed which you will never have confidence in or believe,
[even] if someone [clearly describing it in detail] declares it to you.
Proverbs 14:6 (AMP) 6 A scoffer seeks Wisdom in
vain [for his very attitude blinds
and deafens him to it], but knowledge is easy to him who [being teachable]
understands.
Jude 17–19 (The Living Bible) 17
Dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ told you, 18
that in the last times there would come
these scoffers whose whole purpose in life is to enjoy themselves in every evil
way imaginable. 19 They stir up arguments; they love the evil things
of the world; they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them.
Psalm 40:11–17 (The Living Bible) 11 O Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me! My only hope
is in your love and faithfulness. 12 Otherwise I perish, for
problems far too big for me to solve are piled higher than my head. Meanwhile
my sins, too many to count, have all caught up with me, and I am ashamed to
look up. My heart quails within me. 13 Please, Lord, rescue me! Quick! Come and help me! 14 Confuse
them! Turn them around and send them sprawling—all these who are trying to
destroy me. Disgrace these scoffers with their utter failure! 16 But
may the joy of the Lord be given to everyone who loves him and his salvation.
May they constantly exclaim, “How great God is!” 17 I am poor
and weak, yet the Lord is thinking about me right now! O my God, you are my
helper. You are my Savior; come quickly, and save me. Please don’t delay!
[Please Note: Always Read the
Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy
Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
