“Therefore Pilate entered again into the Praetorium, and summoned
Jesus and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Are you saying this on your
own initiative, or did others tell you about Me?” Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your
own nation and the chief priests delivered You to me; what have You done?” Jesus Answered, “My Kingdom Is Not Of This
World. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting
so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My Kingdom Is Not Of This Realm.”
To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Matthew 4:17–25 (ESV) 17 From that time
Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent,
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 18 While walking by the
Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his
brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19 And
he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20
Immediately they left their nets and followed him. 21 And going on
from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his
brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he
called them. 22 Immediately they left the boat and their father and
followed him. 23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in
their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every
disease and every affliction among the people. 24 So his fame spread
throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with
various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, epileptics, and
paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds followed him
from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond
the Jordan.
Matthew 4:17 (NIV) 17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
John 3:1–5 (NIV) 1 Now there was a
Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2
He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who
has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were
not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they
are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?”
Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s
womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they
are born of water and the Spirit.
Luke 17:20–21 (The Living Bible) 20 One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God begin?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of
God isn’t ushered in with visible signs. 21 You won’t be able to
say, ‘It has begun here in this place or there in that part of the country.’ For the Kingdom of God is within you.”
John 18:33–37 (NASB95) 33 Therefore Pilate entered again into the Praetorium, and summoned
Jesus and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” 34 Jesus
answered, “Are you saying this on your own initiative, or did others tell you
about Me?” 35 Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation
and the chief priests delivered You to me; what have You done?” 36
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of
this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be
fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom
is not of this realm.” 37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You
are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For
this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to
the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
James 2:5 (NASB95) 5 Listen, my beloved
brethren: did not God choose the poor of
this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He
promised to those who love Him?
2 Peter 1:10–18 (The Living Bible) 10 So, dear brothers, work hard to prove that you really are among
those God has called and chosen, and then you will never stumble or fall away. 11 And God will open wide the
gates of heaven for you to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. 12 I plan to keep on reminding you of these
things even though you already know them and are really getting along quite
well! 13 But the Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that my days here on
earth are numbered, and I am soon to die. As long as I am still here I intend
to keep sending these reminders to you, 15 hoping to impress them so
clearly upon you that you will remember them long after I have gone. 16
For we have not been telling you fairy tales when we explained to you the power
of our Lord Jesus Christ and his coming again. My own eyes have seen his
splendor and his glory: 17 I
was there on the holy mountain when he shone out with honor given him by God
his Father; I heard that glorious, majestic voice calling down from heaven,
saying, “This is my much-loved Son; I am well pleased with him.”
[Please Note: Always Read the
Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy
Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
