“Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch
for them, so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for my unannounced
return. “Are you a wise and faithful
servant of the Lord? Have I given you the task of managing my household, to
feed my children day by day? Blessings On You If I Return And Find You
Faithfully Doing Your Work. I will
put such faithful ones in charge of everything I own!”
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Matthew 24:37–25:1 (The Living Bible) 37 “The world will be at ease—banquets and parties and weddings—just as it was in Noah’s time before the sudden coming of the Flood; 39 people wouldn’t believe what was going to happen until the Flood actually arrived and took them all away. So shall my coming be. 40 “Two men will be working together in the fields, and one will be taken, the other left. 41 Two women will be going about their household tasks; one will be taken, the other left. 42 “So be prepared, for you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. 43 “Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch for them, 44 so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for my unannounced return. 45 “Are you a wise and faithful servant of the Lord? Have I given you the task of managing my household, to feed my children day by day? 46 Blessings on you if I return and find you faithfully doing your work. 47 I will put such faithful ones in charge of everything I own! 48 “But if you are evil and say to yourself, ‘My Lord won’t be coming for a while,’ 49 and begin oppressing your fellow servants, partying and getting drunk, 50 your Lord will arrive unannounced and unexpected, 51 and severely whip you and send you off to the judgment of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 1 “The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:31–46 (CJB) 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory,
accompanied by all the angels, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32
All the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one
from another as a shepherd separates sheep from goats. 33 The
‘sheep’ he will place at his right hand and the ‘goats’ at his left. 34
“Then the King will say to those on his
right, ‘Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take your inheritance, the
Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world. 35 For I
was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to
drink, I was a stranger and you made me your guest, 36 I needed
clothes and you provided them, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in
prison and you visited me.’ 37 Then the people who have done
what God wants will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or
thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a
stranger and make you our guest, or needing clothes and provide them? 39
When did we see you sick or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 The King
will say to them, ‘Yes! I tell you that whenever you did these things for one
of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for me!’ 41
“Then he will also speak to those on his left, saying, ‘Get away from me, you
who are cursed! Go off into the fire prepared for the Adversary and his angels!
42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, thirsty and you gave me
nothing to drink, 43 a stranger and you did not welcome me, needing
clothes and you did not give them to me, sick and in prison and you did not
visit me.’ 44 Then they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see you
hungry, thirsty, a stranger, needing clothes, sick or in prison, and not take
care of you?’ 45 And he will answer them, ‘Yes! I tell you that
whenever you refused to do it for the least important of these people, you
refused to do it for me!’ 46 They will go off to eternal punishment,
but those who have done what God wants will go to eternal life.”

Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16
For it was not mere stories of fancy that we followed when we told
you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been
eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received such honor and
glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory there was borne to Him
a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I take delight.” 18
we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven while we were with Him on that
sacred mountain. 19 So we have the message of the prophets more
certainly guaranteed. Please pay
attention to this message as to a lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until
the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 because
you recognize this truth above all else, that
no prophecy in Scripture is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21
for no prophecy has ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by
the Holy Spirit spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
