“So the people went away to eat a festive meal and to send presents; It Was A Time Of Great And Joyful
Celebration Because They Could Hear And Understand God’s Words.”
To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. John
1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Nehemiah 8:1–6 (The Living Bible) 1 Now, in mid-September, all
the people assembled at the plaza in front of the Water Gate and requested
Ezra, their religious leader, to read to them the law of God, which he had
given to Moses. So Ezra the priest brought out to them the scroll of Moses’
laws. He stood on a wooden stand made especially for the occasion so that
everyone could see him as he read. He faced the square in front of the Water
Gate and read from early morning until noon. Everyone stood up as he opened the
scroll. And all who were old enough to
understand paid close attention. To his right stood Mattithiah, Shema,
Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah. To his left were Pedaiah, Mishael,
Malchijah, Hashum, Hash-baddenah, Zechariah, and Meshullam. 6 Then Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God,
and all the people said, “Amen,” and lifted their hands toward heaven; then
they bowed and worshiped the Lord with their faces toward the ground.
Nehemiah 8:7–12 (NASB95) 7
Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah,
Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, explained the law to the
people while the people remained in their place. 8 They read from the book, from the law of
God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading. 9
Then Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and
the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “This day is holy to the Lord
your God; do not mourn or weep.” For all the people were weeping when they
heard the words of the law. 10 Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the
fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for
this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be
grieved, for the joy of the Lord
is your strength.” 11 So the Levites calmed all the people,
saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.” 12 All
the people went away to eat, to drink, to send portions and to celebrate a
great festival, because they understood the words which had been made known to
them.
Nehemiah 8:12 (The Living Bible) 12
So the people went away to eat a festive
meal and to send presents; it was a time of great and joyful celebration
because they could hear and understand God’s words.
Today is February 4, 2015.

Living God to give you the interpretation.
2 Peter 1:16–21
(Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible) 9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
