Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Luke 8:11–18 (NASB95) 11 “Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. 12
“Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes
away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved. 13
“Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word
with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in
time of temptation fall away. 14 “The seed which fell among
the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they
are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring
no fruit to maturity. 15 “But the seed in the good soil,
these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with
perseverance. 16 “Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it
over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand,
so that those who come in may see the light. 17 “For nothing is
hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not
be known and come to light. 18 “So take care how you listen; for
whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even
what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”
Romans 2:4–7 (CJB) 4 Or perhaps you
despise the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience; because you don’t
realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins. 5
But by your stubbornness, by your unrepentant heart, you are storing up anger
for yourself on the Day of Anger, when God’s righteous judgment will be
revealed; 6 for he will pay
back each one according to his deeds.7 To those who seek glory, honor and immortality by perseverance in doing
good, he will pay back eternal life.
Romans 8:23–28 (NASB95) 23 And not only this,
but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves
groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the
redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope
that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25
But if we hope for what we do not see,
with perseverance we wait eagerly for it. 26 In the same way the
Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should,
but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for
words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the
Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good
to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 15:5–6 (NASB95) 5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to
be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, 6 so
that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 4:16 (AMP) 16 Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and
to [your] teaching; persevere in these
things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and
those who hear you.
James 1:12 (NASB95) 12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he
has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has
promised to those who love Him.

ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit

Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
