To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
2 Samuel 7:28–29 (AMP) 28 And now, O Lord God, You
are God, and Your words are truth, and You have promised this good thing to
Your servant. 29 Therefore now let it please You to bless the house
of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You; for You, O Lord God,
have spoken it, and with Your blessing let [his] house be blessed forever.
1 Kings 17:24 (AMP) 24 And the woman said
to Elijah, By this I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.
Psalm 15:1–4 (AMP) 1 A Psalm of David. LORD,
WHO shall dwell [temporarily] in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell [permanently]
on Your holy hill? 2 He who
walks and lives uprightly and blamelessly, who works rightness and
justice and speaks and thinks the truth in his heart, 3
He who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes
up a reproach against his neighbor; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is
despised, but he who honors those who fear the Lord (who revere and worship
Him); who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
Psalm 25:5 (NASB95) 5 Lead me in Your truth and
teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:8–14 (AMP) 8 Good and upright is
the Lord; therefore will He instruct sinners in [His] way. 9 He
leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches His way. 10
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are
they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. 11 For
Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity and my guilt, for [they
are] great. 12 Who is the man who reverently fears and
worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose. 13
He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land. 14
The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who
fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and
reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.
Psalm 31:5 (NASB95) 5 Into Your hand I
commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord,
God of truth.
Psalm 86:10–12 (NASB95) 10 For You are great and do wondrous
deeds; You alone are God. 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. 12
I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify
Your name forever.
Psalm 111:6–10 (NASB95) 6 He has made known to
His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations. 7
The works of His hands are truth and
justice; All His precepts are sure. 8 They are upheld forever
and ever; They are performed in truth
and uprightness. 9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has
ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. 10 The
fear of the Lord is the beginning
of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments;
His praise endures forever.
John 1:14 (The Living Bible) 14
And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth.
And some of us have seen his glory—the glory of the only Son of the heavenly
Father!
John 1:14 (AV) 14 And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the
only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth.
John 1:17 (AV) 17 For the law was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 3:21 (CJB) 21 But everyone who does what is true comes to
the light, so that all may see that his actions are accomplished through
God.”
John 4:21–24 (NASB95) 21 Jesus said to her,
“Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in
Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 “You worship what you do
not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23
“But an hour is coming, and now is, when
the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such
people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 8:31–32 (NASB95) 31 So Jesus was saying
to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you
are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
John 14:6–7 (ESV) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known
me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have
seen him.”
John 14:16–17 (NASB95) 16 “I will ask the
Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17
that is the Spirit of truth,
whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you
know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
John 17:15–17 (NASB95) 15 “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them
from the evil one. 16 “They are not of the world, even as I
am not of the world. 17 “Sanctify
them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 18:36–38 (AMP) 36 Jesus answered, My
kingdom (kingship, royal power) belongs not to this world. If My kingdom were
of this world, My followers would have been fighting to keep Me from being
handed over to the Jews. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here (this
world); [it has no such origin or source]. 37 Pilate said to Him,
Then You are a King? Jesus answered, You say it! [You speak correctly!] For I
am a King. [Certainly I am a King!] This
is why I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to
the Truth. Everyone who is of the Truth [who is a friend of the Truth, who
belongs to the Truth] hears and listens to My voice. 38
Pilate said to Him, What is Truth?
On saying this he went out to the Jews again and told them, I find no fault in
Him.
[Please Note: Always Read the Word of God in Context,
reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy Spirit of the Living God to
give you the interpretation. 2
Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16
For it was not mere stories of fancy that we followed when we told
you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been
eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received such honor and
glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory there was borne to Him
a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I take delight.” 18
we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven while we were with Him on that
sacred mountain. 19 So we have the message of the prophets more
certainly guaranteed. Please pay
attention to this message as to a lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until
the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 because
you recognize this truth above all else, that
no prophecy in Scripture is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21
for no prophecy has ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by
the Holy Spirit spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
