“Hear Me, All Of You, And Understand: There is nothing outside a person that by going into him can
defile him, but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.” And when he had entered the house and left the
people, his disciples asked him about the parable. And he said to them, “Then are you also
without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from
outside cannot defile him, 19 since it enters not his heart but his
stomach, and is expelled?”
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Mark 7:14–23 (ESV) 14 And he called the people to him again and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand: 15 There is nothing outside a person that by going into him can defile him, but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.” 17 And when he had entered the house and left the people, his disciples asked him about the parable. 18 And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, 19 since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) 20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Jeremiah
17:5–10 (The Living
Bible) 5 The Lord says: Cursed is the man who puts his trust
in mortal man and turns his heart away from God. 6 He is like a
stunted shrub in the desert, with no hope for the future; he lives on the
salt-encrusted plains in the barren wilderness; good times pass him by forever.
7 But blessed is the man who
trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope and confidence. 8
He is like a tree planted along a riverbank, with its roots reaching deep into
the water—a tree not bothered by the heat nor worried by long months of
drought. Its leaves stay green, and it goes right on producing all its luscious
fruit. 9 The heart is the
most deceitful thing there is and desperately wicked. No one can really know
how bad it is! 10 Only the Lord knows! He searches all hearts and
examines deepest motives so he can give to each person his right reward, according
to his deeds—how he has lived.
Psalm
119:111–114 (AMP) 111
Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing
of my heart. 112 I have
inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, even to the end. 113
I hate the thoughts of undecided [in religion], double-minded people, but Your
law do I love. 114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in
Your word.
Psalm
119:142–149 (Tanakh) 142
Your righteousness is eternal; Your
teaching is true. 143 Though anguish and distress come upon me,
Your commandments are my delight. 144 Your righteous decrees are
eternal; give me understanding, that I might live. ק145 I call with all my heart; answer me, O Lord,
that I may observe Your laws. 146 I call upon You; save me, that I
may keep Your decrees. 147 I rise before dawn and cry for help; I
hope for Your word. 148 My eyes greet each watch of the night,
as I meditate on Your promise. 149 Hear my voice as befits Your
steadfast love; O Lord, preserve
me, as is Your rule.
Psalm
119:157–163 (NKJV) 157
Many are my persecutors and my enemies, Yet I do not turn from
Your testimonies. 158 I see the treacherous, and am disgusted,
Because they do not keep Your word. 159 Consider how I love Your
precepts; Revive me, O Lord,
according to Your lovingkindness. 160 The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your
righteous judgments endures forever. 161 Princes
persecute me without a cause, But my
heart stands in awe of Your word. 162 I rejoice at Your word As one
who finds great treasure. 163 I hate and abhor lying, But
I love Your law.
[Please Note: Always Read the
Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy
Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
