“Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches.
Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart
from me you can’t do a thing. If anyone
separates from me, he is thrown away like a useless branch, withers, and is
gathered into a pile with all the others and burned. 7 But if you
stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will
be granted! My True Disciples Produce Bountiful Harvests. This
Brings Great Glory To My Father.”
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Malachi 3:1–3 (The Living Bible) 1 “Listen: I will send my messenger before me to prepare the way. And then the One you are looking for will come suddenly to his Temple—the Messenger of God’s promises, to bring you great joy. Yes, he is surely coming,” says the Lord Almighty. 2 “But who can live when he appears? Who can endure his coming? For he is like a blazing fire refining precious metal, and he can bleach the dirtiest garments! 3 Like a refiner of silver he will sit and closely watch as the dross is burned away. He will purify the Levites, the ministers of God, refining them like gold or silver, so that they will do their work for God with pure hearts.
Matthew 3:7–12 (NASB95) 7 But when he saw many
of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood
of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8
“Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance; 9 and do not
suppose that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father’; for I
say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham. 10
“The axe is already laid at the root of
the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and
thrown into the fire. 11 “As for me, I baptize you with water
for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not
fit to remove His sandals; He will
baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 “His winnowing fork is
in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will
gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable
fire.”
Luke 3:16–17 (AMP) 16 John answered them all by saying, I baptize you with water; but He
Who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of Whose sandals I am not fit to
unfasten. He will baptize you with the
Holy Spirit and with fire. 17 His winnowing shovel (fork) is in
His hand to thoroughly clear and cleanse His [threshing] floor and to
gather the wheat and store it in His granary, but the chaff He will burn with fire that cannot be extinguished.
Zechariah 13:7–9 (Tanakh) 7 O sword! Rouse
yourself against My shepherd, The man in charge of My flock —says the Lord of Hosts. Strike down the shepherd
And let the flock scatter; And I will also turn My hand Against all the
shepherd boys. 8 Throughout the land —declares the Lord— Two-thirds shall perish, shall
die, And one-third of it shall survive. 9
That third I will put into the fire, And I will smelt them as one smelts silver
And test them as one tests gold. They will invoke Me by name, And I will
respond to them. I will declare, “You
are My people,” And they will declare, “The Lord
is our God!”
Matthew 7:15–23 (NKJV) 15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by
their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17
Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit
is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their
fruits you will know them. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord,
Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father
in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many
wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never
knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
John 15:1–10 (The Living Bible) 1 “I
am the true Vine, and my Father is the Gardener. 2 He lops off every
branch that doesn’t produce. And he prunes those branches that bear fruit for
even larger crops. 3 He has already tended you by pruning you back
for greater strength and usefulness by means of the commands I gave you. 4
Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce
fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me. 5 “Yes, I am the Vine; you are
the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of
fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing. 6 If anyone separates
from me, he is thrown away like a useless branch, withers, and is gathered into
a pile with all the others and burned. 7 But if you stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you
like, and it will be granted! 8 My true disciples produce bountiful
harvests. This brings great glory to my Father. 9 “I have loved
you even as the Father has loved me. Live within my love. 10 When
you obey me you are living in my love, just as I obey my Father and live in his
love.
1 Corinthians 3:11–15 (CJB) 11 For no one can lay
any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah. 12
Some will use gold, silver or precious stones in building on this foundation;
while others will use wood, grass or straw. 13 But each one’s work
will be shown for what it is; the Day
will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire—the fire will test the
quality of each one’s work. 14 If the work someone has built on
the foundation survives, he will receive a reward; 15 if it is
burned up, he will have to bear the loss: he will still escape with his life,
but it will be like escaping through a fire.
1 Peter 1:3–9 (NKJV) 3 Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant
mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and
undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5
who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time. 6 In
this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have
been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your
faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is
tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of
Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do
not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full
of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your
souls.
Revelation 3:18–22 (NASB95) 18 I advise you to buy from Me
gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that
you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not
be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19
‘Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 20
‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the
door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 21
‘He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I
also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 ‘He who
has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ ”
[Please Note: Always Read the
Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy
Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
