To: ALL
WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From;
GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the
HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject:
MY WORD
Matthew 6:14–15 (The Living Bible) 14 Your
heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who sin against you; but if you refuse to forgive them,
he will not forgive you.
Matthew 18:21–22 (The Living Bible)
21 Then Peter came to him and asked,
“Sir, how often should I forgive a brother who sins against me? Seven times?” 22
“No!” Jesus replied, “seventy times seven!
Luke 23:33–35 (AMP)
33 And when they came to the place
which is called The Skull [Latin: Calvary; Hebrew: Golgotha], there they
crucified Him, and [along with] the criminals, one on the right and one on the
left. 34 And Jesus prayed,
Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His
garments and distributed them by casting lots for them. 35 Now
the people stood by [calmly and leisurely] watching; but the rulers scoffed and
sneered (turned up their noses) at Him, saying, He rescued others [from death];
let Him now rescue Himself, if He is the Christ (the Messiah) of God, His
Chosen One!
Colossians 3:5–17 (The Living Bible)
5 Away then with sinful, earthly
things; deaden the evil desires lurking within you; have nothing to do with
sexual sin, impurity, lust, and shameful desires; don’t worship the good things
of life, for that is idolatry. 6 God’s terrible anger is upon those
who do such things. 7 You used to do them when your life was still
part of this world; 8 but now is the time to cast off and throw away
all these rotten garments of anger, hatred, cursing, and dirty language. 9
Don’t tell lies to each other; it was your old life with all its wickedness
that did that sort of thing; now it is dead and gone. 10 You are living a brand new kind of life that is
continually learning more and more of what is right, and trying constantly to
be more and more like Christ who created this new life within you. 11
In this new life one’s nationality or race or education or social position is
unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what
matters, and he is equally available to all. 12 Since you have been chosen by God who has given you this new kind of
life, and because of his deep love and concern for you, you should practice
tenderhearted mercy and kindness to others. Don’t worry about making a good
impression on them, but be ready to suffer quietly and patiently. 13
Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave
you, so you must forgive others. 14 Most of all, let love guide
your life, for then the whole church will stay together in perfect harmony. 15
Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts
and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of his
body. And always be thankful. 16 Remember what Christ taught, and
let his words enrich your lives and make you wise; teach them to each other and
sing them out in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing to the Lord with
thankful hearts. 17 And whatever you do or say, let it be as a
representative of the Lord Jesus, and come with him into the presence of God
the Father to give him your thanks.
James 1:22–2:1 (NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word,
and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a
hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face
in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately
forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the
perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful
hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. 26
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but
deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27 Pure
and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and
widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. 1
My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of
glory, with partiality.
Matthew 7:21–27 (The Living Bible) 21 “Not all who sound religious are really godly people. They may
refer to me as ‘Lord,’ but still won’t get to heaven. For the decisive question is whether they obey my Father in heaven. 22
At the Judgment many will tell me, ‘Lord, Lord, we told others about you and
used your name to cast out demons and to do many other great miracles.’ 23
But I will reply, ‘You have never been mine. Go away, for your deeds are evil.’
24 “All who listen to my
instructions and follow them are wise, like a man who builds his house on
solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents, and the floods
rise and the storm winds beat against his house, it won’t collapse, for it is
built on rock. 26 “But those who hear my instructions and ignore
them are foolish, like a man who builds his house on sand. 27 For
when the rains and floods come, and storm winds beat against his house, it will
fall with a mighty crash.”
Matthew 12:47–50 (NASB95) 47 Someone said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are
standing outside seeking to speak to You.” 48 But Jesus answered the
one who was telling Him and said, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49
And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, “Behold My mother
and My brothers! 50 “For
whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and
sister and mother.”
Luke 6:46–49 (ESV) 46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord,
Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? 47 Everyone who comes to me and
hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48
he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the
rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not
shake it, because it had been well built. 49 But the one who hears
and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a
foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin
of that house was great.”
Luke 11:27–28 (CJB) 27 As Yeshua was
saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice to call out, “How
blessed is the mother that gave birth to you and nursed you from her breast!” 28 But he said, “Far more
blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
1 John 2:1–6 (The Living Bible) 1 My little children, I am telling you this so that you will stay
away from sin. But if you sin, there is someone to plead for you before the
Father. His name is Jesus Christ, the one who is all that is good and who
pleases God completely. 2 He
is the one who took God’s wrath against our sins upon himself and brought us
into fellowship with God; and he is the forgiveness for our sins, and not only
ours but all the world’s. 3 And how can we be sure that we
belong to him? By looking within ourselves: are we really trying to do what he
wants us to? 4 Someone may
say, “I am a Christian; I am on my way to heaven; I belong to Christ.” But if
he doesn’t do what Christ tells him to, he is a liar. 5 But those
who do what Christ tells them to will learn to love God more and more. That is
the way to know whether or not you are a Christian. 6 Anyone who
says he is a Christian should live as Christ did.
1 Corinthians 3:17–21 (The Living Bible)
17 If anyone defiles and spoils
God’s home, God will destroy him. For
God’s home is holy and clean, and you are that home. 18 Stop fooling
yourselves. If you count yourself above average in intelligence, as judged by
this world’s standards, you had better put this all aside and be a fool rather
than let it hold you back from the true wisdom from above. 19 For
the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As it says in the book of
Job, God uses man’s own brilliance to trap him; he stumbles over his own “wisdom”
and falls. 20 And again, in the book of Psalms, we are told that the
Lord knows full well how the human mind reasons and how foolish and futile it
is. 21 So don’t be proud of
following the wise men of this world. For God has already given you
everything you need.
[Please Note: Always Read the Word of God in Context asking
the Holy Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
