“But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know
about.” So the disciples were saying to one another,
“No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?” Jesus said to them, “My Food
Is To Do The Will Of Him Who Sent Me And To Accomplish His Work.”
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD
JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be
with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and truth.
Matthew 6:10 (AMP) 10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Psalm 40:8 (The Living Bible) 8 And I delight to do your will, my God,
for your law is written upon my heart!”
Mark 3:35 (NASB95) 35 “For
whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”
John 4:32–34 (NASB95) 32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat that
you do not know about.” 33 So the disciples were saying to one another,
“No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?” 34 Jesus said to them, “My food
is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
John 6:38–40 (The Living Bible) 38 For I have come here from heaven to do the
will of God who sent me, not to have my own way. 39 And this is the will of God,
that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should
raise them to eternal life at the Last Day. 40 For it is my Father’s will that everyone who
sees his Son and believes on him should have eternal life—that I should raise
him at the Last Day.”
John 7:16–18 (AMP) 16 Jesus answered them by saying, My teaching is
not My own, but His Who sent Me. 17 If any man desires to do His will (God’s
pleasure), he will know (have the
needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself) whether the teaching is from God or whether
I am speaking from Myself and of My own accord and on My own
authority. 18 He who speaks on his own authority seeks to
win honor for himself. [He whose teaching originates with himself seeks his own
glory.] But He Who seeks the glory and is eager for the honor of Him Who
sent Him, He is true; and there is no unrighteousness or falsehood or
deception in Him.
Romans 12:1–2 (NASB95) 1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies
of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which
is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, so that you may
prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Colossians 1:9–20 (NASB95) 9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of
it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled
with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner
worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in
every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for
the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the
inheritance of the saints in Light. 13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us
to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have
redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all
creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in
the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions
or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place
in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness
to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile
all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross;
through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
[Please Note: Always Read the
Word of God in Context, reading the entire chapter or book, asking the Holy
Spirit of the Living God to give you the interpretation. 2 Peter 1:16–21 (Williams) 16 For it was not mere stories of fancy
that we followed when we told you of the power and coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He
received such honor and glory from God the Father, when from the majestic glory
there was borne to Him a voice like this, “This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom
I take delight.” 18 we heard this voice ourselves borne from heaven
while we were with Him on that sacred mountain. 19 So we have the
message of the prophets more certainly guaranteed. Please pay attention to this message as to a
lamp that is shining in a dismal place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts; 20 because you recognize this truth above
all else, that no prophecy in Scripture
is to be interpreted by one’s own mind, 21 for no prophecy has
ever yet originated in man’s will, but men who were led by the Holy Spirit
spoke from God.]
Philippians 2:9–11 (The Living
Bible)9 Yet it was because of this that God raised
him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other
name, 10 that at the name of
Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
