DO THIS

To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR

From; GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be with you forever. [John 14:16]

Subject: MY WORD

Luke 10:25–28 (The Living Bible)

25One day an expert on Moses’ laws came to test Jesus’ orthodoxy by asking him this question: “Teacher, what does a man need to do to live forever in heaven?”

26Jesus replied, “What does Moses’ law say about it?”

27“It says,” he replied, “that you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind. And you must love your neighbor just as much as you love yourself.”

28“Right!” Jesus told him. Do this and you shall live!”

Deuteronomy 6:4–5 (The Living Bible)
4“O Israel, listen: Jehovah is our God, Jehovah alone. 5You must love him with all your heart, soul, and might.

Deuteronomy 10:12–13 (The Living Bible)
12-13“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you except to listen carefully to all he says to you, and to obey for your own good the commandments I am giving you today, and to love him, and to worship him with all your hearts and souls?

Deuteronomy 30:6 (The Living Bible)
6He will cleanse your hearts and the hearts of your children and of your children’s children so that you will love the Lord your God with all your hearts and souls, and Israel shall come alive again!

Leviticus 19:18 (The Living Bible)
18Don’t seek vengeance. Don’t bear a grudge; but love your neighbor as yourself, for I am Jehovah.

Romans 13:9 (The Living Bible)
9If you love your neighbor as much as you love yourself you will not want to harm or cheat him, or kill him or steal from him. And you won’t sin with his wife or want what is his, or do anything else the Ten Commandments say is wrong. All ten are wrapped up in this one, to love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Galatians 5:13–14 (The Living Bible)
13For, dear brothers, you have been given freedom: not freedom to do wrong, but freedom to love and serve each other. 14For the whole Law can be summed up in this one command: “Love others as you love yourself.”
